December 31, 2013: Mansfield Plantation has entered into a conservation easement with the Nature Conservancy in an effort to preserve this historic plantation for generations to come. NATURE.ORG

January 1, 2012: Mansfield Plantation has been working with Tall Timbers to help revive the native quail population on the plantation. TALLTIMBERS.ORG

March 1, 2010: Construction on the rice mill begins. Lost to wildfire in the 1970's, Mansfield Plantation will be resurrecting the rice mill structure on it's original foundation using traditional cedar shake construction, like the original.
